What is MAC TV?
We are a non-commercial, community access television station providing local communities with easy access to electronic media and equipment. We also provide the opportunity to engage in the creation of television programs designed to educate, inform and entertain the public. How is MAC TV funded?
The Mid-Michigan Area Cable Consortium (MAC TV Network) is funded by independent member communities throughout Gratiot, Isabella and Clare Counties.
What is Public Access?
Public access television is a non-commercial forum through which individuals can express their opinions and provide information to the community members through cable television.
What can I do with public access television?
Public access television means that you, your club, or organization can produce non-commercial, informational, educational, or entertaining television programming for local audiences.

MAC TV services the following communities:
St. Louis
Pine River Township
Arcada Township
Union Charter Township
Mount Pleasant
Clare
Harrison
Who can produce a show?
To qualify you must be at least 12 years of age or older, a resident of any member community listed above, and a Charter Communications subscriber. All producers must also attend an equipment-training class.
Are there any requirements for shows?
Your show cannot contain:
Commercial/Copyrighted Content
Slander or Libel
Obscene Material
Shows containing adult language/themes or violent content will be aired during night-time hours.

Our equipment includes:
Panasonic HD AG-HMC40 & Sony NX5U Cameras
Apple iMac Editing Suites
Apple Laptop Computers with Adobe Software
Professional Light Kits
Monopods, Tripods, and Necessary Accessories
On-sight Studio complete with Lighting, Sound, Video Equipment, and Green Screen
Microphones (wired and wireless)
Conference/Pre-production space
Knowledgeable, professionally-trained staff available for consultation
Are there employment opportunities?
We operate with a fairly small staff, however when we have staff openings it will be posted in the News section of our website.
